Who is Alex?
Alex is a licensed Rome Guide. He has a University Degree in Languages portuguese, spanish, english, rumenian and a Master’s Degree in Communication and Turism. He was born in Canada and from 1985 to 1992 he worked in airport security in the USA and for many years in the hotel business. Then he became a qualified tour leader for American clients travelling to and from Italy. As a tour leader, he has over 10 years experience working in the U.K. Spain, Brasil, USA, and Canada. He lived and worked in Paris for many years and he has worked as Rome Guide since 1998. He lives in Rome and he is fluent in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Rumenian. Other qualifications include: specialized Training as Blue Badge for London Tour Guides. As professional Rome guide Alessandro is specialized in private Rome tours, Vatican museum tour and Tivoli gardens tours.Personal Interests: architecture, mosaics, singing, and mountain trekking.

Who is Catherina?
Catherina W. is a licensed Florence Guide. She is fluent in Italian, English, French and Swedish. In the early 1980’s she travelled as a tour guide with American and Italian clients in Scandinavia. After that, for almost twenty years, she travelled the USA selling Florentine jewellery.She organizes "custom made" tours for all art museums in Florence: The Uffizi, The Pitti Palace, The Accademia and any other sites that is of artistic, architectual, historical or archeological interest. For over ten years she has conducted wine tours for international sommeliers, including all the DOCG areas in Tuscany.
She also conducts tours in the Tuscan countryside visiting charming small medieval towns. As a professional Florence guide, Catherina is specialized in private Florence tours for single clients or groups of clients who she looks after with attention and care. Personal interests: art, history, music, movies, wine and cooking.
